Introduction

The ufological facts involving the so-called Night of the UFOs have no parallel in history anywhere in the world. What happened on the afternoon of May 19, 1986, lasting until the morning of the next day, May 20, is simply staggering. During this period, a squadron of dozens of UFOs flew over Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, concentrating on the Paraíba River Valley, in the interior of the state of São Paulo (Brazil), causing a direct impact on Air Traffic Control and activating the System of Air Defense of Brazil. Several armed jet fighters of the Brazilian Air Force were sent to intercept these objects, which were being seen in several Brazilian states.

In an unprecedented way, the then Minister of Aeronautics, scheduled a press conference, where he confirmed the facts and made available Brazilian pilots and military personnel involved in the occurrence.

Night of the UFOs A Similar Case in 1984

The so-called Official Night of UFOs was, without a doubt, the most significant event registered by the Brazilian Air Force, throughout the 1980s. covering almost the same area as the events of May 1986.

The UFO Wave of 1986

The UFO flight on the so-called Official UFO Night was not an isolated event. The case is part of a great ufological wave, which reached practically all of Brazil and which began on March 19, increased in intensity in May and ended in August of that year. There were several hundred sightings from the ground, at medium and short distances, radar tracking, UFO landings, photographs and filming of strange objects, in addition to contacts and abductions.

The Night of the UFOs Incidente is certainly the UFO case with the highest number of witnesses in the history of World UFOlogy. Thousands of people, in different Brazilian states, with the most diverse ages, religions, civilians, military and pilots, observed the manifestation of dozens of intelligent objects, whose total number is still uncertain.

The Flight of the Jambock – 07

The Jambock-07 Fighter was the second F-5 fighter to take off, to intercept the UFOs that appeared over the Paraíba Valley, on the night of May 19, 1986. During its mission, the plane was accompanied by thirteen UFOs in a flight of training.

The Flight of the Jaguar – 116

The Jaguar-116 Fighter was the first Mirage IIIEBR fighter to take off, to intercept the UFOs that appeared over the state of Goiás, on the night of May 19, 1986. During his mission, the pilot managed to frame the object in the target in four moments , until the object accelerated very sharply, reaching Mach 15.

The Flight of the Jaguar – 98

The Jaguar-98 Fighter was the second Mirage IIIEBR fighter to take off, to intercept the UFOs that appeared over the state of Goiás, on the night of May 19, 1986. During its mission, the plane was accompanied by a UFO, which responded intelligent way to the plane’s maneuvers.

The Flight of the Jaguar – 107

Jaguar-107 was the fifth and last fighter to take off to intercept UFOs, on the night of May 19-20, 1986.

The Last Sightings on Official Night

After the return of the fighters, UFOs continued to be sighted in different cities across Brazil, in a demonstration that lasted until dawn, on May 20, 1986.

The Official UFO Night is the most witnessed ufological event in the history of World Ufology, with thousands of direct witnesses, in several Brazilian states and also in Uruguay, where there was an unfolding of the fact.
